The version of KGet is: Version 2.14.4 Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.4 From fedora repository of the 21 version. Any news ?? One month without an answer, great! I'm a fan of KDE but this is really piss me off... Is there a mantainer for the KGet software ?!?!?! Is there a mantainer for the bugs here ?!?!?!?! At least may i have the email of the developers, so i can contact them ? Any news? Sorry, I don't have time to work on KGet currently. You can take a look to fix it yourself though if you are interested! I'd be happy to help you in this case. Lukas My skills on c++ isn't so good to make this kind of change. I just take a look on the source and find some possible point where to take a look, but have no idea how to change to make it works. KGet is included in the kdenetwork module.
If you just want to install KGet alone, please read
the instructions below.
* Install kdelibs from trunk.
* svn co -N svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/KDE/kdenetwork
* cd kdenetwork
* svn up cmake kget
* mkdir build
* cd build
* cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/path/to/kde4 ..
* make
* make install
With this outdated instruction in the kget repository isn't possibile even to make a
stand alone version to build/test/change...

Ok i find the way to build it standalone so i can try to fix this problem. project is referenced here, https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdenetwork/kget which includes a link to it's code repository. Ichigo, go to Settings -> Configure KGet -> Plugins and disable the Multisegment KIO then try again. Ohhh yes, it works! So the problem is between kget and the plugin for multidownload. Thanks David.
