This is still valid, the "remove duplicate" is not very useful atm (which is a very long moment - about 5 years long up till now) but I am glad of the attention to detail kmail is getting... I am sure it will be fixed soon, right? Thunerbird has a plugin system for stuff like this there are many different plugins for a simple tool like this, you can fine tune every aspect of auto removal .... In kmail there is no working way of mass removing mail (search doesn't work well atm, virtual folders do not really work and you cannot remove stuff within them, right...) A modern Email-Client should offer a way of auto removing duplicates. Also a way of configuring the way to do it. Thanks a lot for all your kind comments over the last two year. I am happy that there is so much effort going into improving existing features instead of creating half-assed new ones that will lack polishing in the future...
