Two cases where the menus are too big

"Krita Sketch" is fine for touch-tablets, but the normal version of Krita can sometimes be painful to use on proper laptops. The brush settings window occupy an area larger than the whole screen (i'm not exaggerating, see the attached images), and the case is similar with the "new document" dialog. The majority of it is used up by empty space, very wide dropdown menus, or unnecessarily large 48x48 icons like "Custom Document" or any of the brush presets. Please take into consideration how these dialog windows are implemented in other programs like Photoshop, CorelDraw, Sketchbook Pro, Paint tool SAI etc.

Also i've noticed there is too much padding around all the UI elements like icons and sliders - is this a KDE/QT theme setting or is it specific to Krita?
