Comment 3 Vladimir 2015-06-25 19:32:35 UTC
Same here. Debian Jessie, ru_RU.UTF-8

Same problem. Debian Jessie, ru_RU.UTF-8.
I can't detect this problem when Apper started first time after a system start, .
The problem arises after pressing "check for updates" button in Apper.

After click "Check for updates" button, you can see '?' instead of cyrillic symbols in package descriptions.

Comment 9 EVasilyev 2022-10-24 23:57:59 UTC
I confirm it, unfortunately.
The behavior of this issue still the same.
1. There's no problem when you open Apper for the first time.
2. After the click on "Check for updates" or search all of the localised descriptions of packages have '?' symbols instead of the text.

Apper version:
1.0.0-3

Environment: Debian 11.5 "Bullseye", ru_RU.UTF-8, KDE 5.20.5, KDE Frameworks 5.78.0.
