Could you please use Konqueror and try if nntp://aioe.org/1.test works there? If not, there are packages missing in your installation. Putting nntp://aioe.org/1.test into the URL field does open a windows which ask me to open it with ? Edmund It looks like you have to report this to the bug tracker of your distribution. The nntp protocol handler is part of the kdepim-runtime resources package, and if your distribution forgot to add required dependencies for knode, then it cannot work. Is it something that is specially for the KDE environment that is missing under XFCE? ( I really hate all those silly different desktop environments ) If so I will report it at my distribution.
