it's meant to be displayed all the time *without* auto hide. Could you confirm what you mean.
I mean auto hide is selected in the panel settings, but the panel doesn't auto hide. Instead, it is displayed all the time and does not hide. Can you paste the output of qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation please. I attach the output below. I also saw now that after restarting, the "auto hide" option is forgotten, i.e. switched back to "always visible". Created attachment 89291 [details]
