KDE applications usually only remember window size, but not the window position. Could you please explain why this should be different for System Settings? Maybe you previously used special window settings ("rules") to enforce a position, but did not port the rules to Plasma 5. I suppose I mistook other KDE applications to have such a feature, possibly by getting accustomed to seeing KMail or Akreagator, etc which are usually restored from the systray. I'll just file a feature request for this (for KWin or Plasmashell, of course). Thanks for the clarification. So I can close this? |
