kdegraphics-gwenview 4.14.0-2

When I open a picture on my primary hdd with gwenview, then gwenview freezes until my secondary disk spun up.

I dont even use any files from the secondry disk, which purpose is mainly for backup and large data.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a secondary HDD which has been sent so sleep.
2. Now open gwenview

Actual Results:
gwenview forces the secondary disk to spin up and freezes until the disk is ready

Expected Results:
gwenview shall not force any unsused disk to spin up
gwenview shall not freeze until any unused ressource is ready

kdegraphics-gwenview 4.14.0-2 (ArchLinux)

Is the sidebar (showing all folders) enabled, and if so, does disabling it also show the issue?

If you can provide the information requested in comment #1, please add a comment.

Yes, disabling it also shows the issue. But it would actually not be an option to just hide it, since this hides it in dolphin too.
Comment 4 Christoph Feck 2014-10-24 18:18:11 UTC
I was thinking about hiding the sidebar, just to find out if the issue is caused by it, not to work around the bug.
