Screenshot of problem

When clicking on the kmix systray button it opens up starting from the bottom of the screen, thus overlapping the systray. This leads to mistakingly opening the kmix app instead of closing the popup when clicking once again on the same posistion.
This is almost the same as bug #118866 but that on is so old I decided to open a new issue.

This is on Kubuntu 14.04 using KDE SC 4.14.

Confirmed with Kubuntu 14.04 + backports
$ kmix --version
Qt: 4.8.6
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.0
KMix: 4.5
Comment 2 Thomas Tanghus 2015-05-02 16:23:18 UTC
Burkhard, the behaviour seems to be correct in 4.14.2. Can you confirm this?
Comment 3 Burkhard Lück 2015-05-04 06:18:30 UTC
$ kmix --version
Qt: 4.8.6
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.2
KMix: 4.5

With always visible panel the behaviour is ok, but with auto hide panel the widget is still overlapping the systray

main window is centered with the second window but kmix now overlaps menu

I have the same issue but it has to do with my second display.

My second monitor is taller than my main monitor. When they are aligned evenly its fine however that is not how I use them. See this album http://imgur.com/a/RzHQs

Please disregard my previous post, I thought it would attach to this text box.

I haven't used kmix in years, so can't say.
