Looks like this has nothing much to do with picme. The same thing happens to be when I play klikety, randomly at some point the volume goes all the way up. And also in the system settings, when I try to change to another tab, I get a warning that I have not applied my changes. That warning comes with a beep,. at 100% volume. I seem to recall I have seen something like this on some other notifies too. In all cases, I can see the volume control has jumped to max, and stays there until I take it down to tolerable levels again. All this on a Debian/jessie, although something similar happened to me also when running Debian/wheezy. (on the same system, which I had upgraded without reinstalling) I am not sure where and how to file this bug. I would try either filing the bug with Debian or asking around on IRC or the mailing lists! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 324975 *** |
