Confirmed. 2 things here: SystemTray/IconItem aren't centering the image from KStatusNotifier and instead stretching it. For this case we should probably port the proper applet and make it DBus activated, then remove the statusnotifieritem from the kded module. Created attachment 88398 [details]

Flag label looks terrible too
What's the flag from? David, System Settings -> Human Input Devices -> Keyboard tab -> Layouts -> Layout indicator group box I switched it there from "label" to "flag". *** Bug 337287 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It indeed is about different things. Maybe it doesn't really come across well in the screenshot, but the other icons indeed were blurry after resizing. I''ll retest and report back as soon as I find the time to give the newest Neon ISO a spin. This seems to happen when the icon size hits 32. It could be a problem with the SVGs, which don't align in that case (assuming they're aligned to render pixel-perfectly at 24px (which I think was the idea), they're scaled by ~1.333 up to 32, leaving half a pixel and making the outline blurry. This is what I can come up with from the screenshots, anyway. *** Bug 340064 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Aleix fixed this in the keyboard kded to return square icons |
