This bug is annoying b/c it makes the account assistant essentially useless as it is impossible to finish the setup. Finally I could catch that longer text - it says that the account information is looked up in the mozilla database. Once successful, one is put back in the same step as before. Apparently the bug is entirely different than anticipated. One has to click on "create account" to enter the next step and be able to hit the finish button. This is extremely confusing - the account exists and no new account should be created - the account should simply be set up in kmail. Also, why would one have to click 'create account' just before clicking 'finish' without any apparent action happening inbetween. Why not allow clicking on finish right away? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 332780 *** |
