This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. I can't check this in 5.1.3 because the smart attachments feature is broken - this is a known and reported bug which I think is fixed upstream but not in my distro yet. As far as I can tell in 5.1.3 drag and drop of multiple files is not possible (I can't select multiple attachments to drag them). David, do you perchance know the number of the bug you mentioned? I just tried to reproduce the drag+drop thingy myself, and was surprised to find that I cannot drag attachments at all. I'd like to know if this is related. Apart from that, this bug might be an INVALID candidate, since even a prerequisite for the feature in question seems to be broken. I think this bug (can't dnd multiple attachments) will remain once the current issue of broken attachments is fixed. I think the broken attachments is known (I don't know the bug #) and fixed upstream. I can't vouch for any of this one way or the other at the moment. At the moment: I can't dnd any files multiple or single I can't see any files inline D+D of files is a long established feature so i think it remains a valid bug. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days, the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please set the bug status as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I can't seem to DND multiple attachments in 5.7.3 - Thanks for the feedback. |
