I'm using susestudio.com. It requires to send sql dump packed with bzip2 (not tar.bz2). Because I need to send just one file it seems logical to me. But when I opened Ark I didn't find bzip2 in supported formats. I think that it should be supported.

I think it's logical to show it in context menu (Compress -> As bzip2 archive) when I select single file and show tar.bz2 when I select several files (> 1 files. Or may be for >= 1 files because someone would like to use usual tar.bz2). 

The same logic is true for gzip (and tar.gz) archives too.

Forgot to mention what the context menu I'm talking about. Of course I'm talking about default KDE's file manager — Dolphin.
