Waste come from KDE desktop. Just control Waste content through KDE icon, as with all computer desktop... My operating system is ubuntu based on gnome, probably. greetings V° Well, as i never used Gnome with KDE application, i'm not sure if KDE and Gnome share the same place for trash storage. Definitively, it's not a digiKam problem, but more Desktops interoperability problem. A possible workaround, is to run dolphin KDE file manager and to go on Trash link from Places section from left sidebar. Pop-up context menu and run Empty Trash option...
