I find the "go to next screen" global hotkey for kwin very handy when using more than one monitor and it used to work just fine, but it's been broken for a while (not sure since what release).

I can set a key combination, but it just does not work.

Instead, the "window to next screen" combination works just fine.

I'm not sure about the actual english names of the combinations, as my desktop is localized; in Italian, they are:

"Vai allo schermo successivo" (the broken one)
"Finestra allo schermo successivo" (the one that's working)

Same things apply for the "previous screen" versions of the two.

Let me know what additional info I could provide to help fix the bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set hotkey
2. Try hotkey
Actual Results:  
Nothing happens and the focused window is still the one on the current screen.

Expected Results:  
The last focused window on the next screen should get focus.

I can confirm. This still happens on plasma 5.22 on arch linux. I can't focus the next or previous monitor with the keyboard, doesn't matter what keybinding I set. The same happens for "Focus screen x"

As announced in https://pointieststick.com/2023/07/26/what-we-plan-to-remove-in-plasma-6/ and https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Plasma_6#Removals, I'm afraid KHotKeys has reached end-of-life in Plasma 6. Accordingly, all bug reports and feature requests for it must be closed now.

Most of what KHotKeys could do can already be done with the newer KGlobalAccel system in Plasma 6. A few features such as mouse gestures and triggering conditions based on changes to window states are not yet implemented in the new system. These will be added in the future if and when resources materialize for them, and/or when a kind soul submits patches to implement them! :) Meanwhile, the 3rd-party "Mouse Actions" app (https://github.com/jersou/mouse-actions) may be usable for implementing your own mouse gestures again.
