Description Baltasar Sanchez 2014-01-02 20:01:29 UTC
I have configured "present windows" with the "ignore minimized windows" option and I have assigned (Un-)Minimize to a mouse button action (middle mouse, but it doesn't matter).

The problem is that when the window is minimized it stays there, I believe that it should be hidden immediately (like it happens when I close the window)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure the effect so that it ignores minimized windows and assign the (un-)minimize window action to a mouse button
2. present windows and minimize one of them using the mouse button
Actual Results:
Window stays there until the effect is over.

Expected Results:
Window should be hidden immediately (like it happens when the window is closed with the 'X' button)

effect version 0.3.0

This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23?

I can confirm on 5.22.5 on manjaro. I may check on 5.23 once they packages are available.

Regardless, I now think that an actual improvement would be to show minimized windows in a small row (15% of the screen or something) below.

Thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately restoring unminimized windows was dropped from the QML rewrite in Plasma 5.25.
