I tried with two jabber account, one account name is some unicode character, which is shown as percent encoding.

for example, my first name is shown as something like "%E7%BF%81".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
use kte-collaborative edit file with other account with unicode name
Actual Results:  
account name in editor shown as percent encoding

Expected Results:  
account name shown as decoded string

Ah yes, I wanted to fix that, thanks for reporting it.
You can change your name in Collaborative -> Change user name, then you can put anything you want.

Sorry, this is no longer maintained, even the base for this, Telepathy is not ported nor maintained.
