Actually the cursor is not supposed to be visible while dragging (to exactly avoid the behavior you describe), not sure why it stays visible. Did you try again with the oxygen cursor theme? Changing cursor to oxygen results with the same issue. The videos linked in the description are not available anymore, but I guess "dragging" refers to panning the image (opposed to drag-and-drop). If so, with a recent version of Gwenview it works fine for me, i.e. after pressing down and while moving the mouse the cursor changes to the "closed hand" style. @Fisiu: Could you try whether you can still reproduce?
