Opened battery widget in the system tray
Battery widget in the "hidden" system tray

Description Timothée Ravier 2013-06-20 16:44:34 UTC
Two problems here, but it looks like they are related :
1) As seen on attachment 1 [details], the battery widget is shown on the desktop instead of the system tray only. I have no battery widget on the desktop, this is the one from the system tray as far as I can tell from attachment 2 [details].
2) When I force "hidden" visibility for the battery widget in the system tray, I get attachment 3 [details], which looks like an opened widget in the system tray list.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade to 4.10.80 with kde-unstable Arch Linux packages, log-out, log-in, enable the battery widget in system tray settings to get attachment 1 [details] & 2.
2. Force "hidden" visibility for the battery widget to get attachment 3 [details].
Actual Results:
Misplaced battery widget

Expected Results:
Battery widget not shown on the desktop while in system tray.
Battery widget "closed" when hidden in the system tray list.

Please ignore the broken attachment links in my first message as they refer to old bugs...

If you meant about the attachments:
attachment 1 [details] => attachment 80670 [details]
attachment 2 [details] => attachment 80671 [details]
attachment 3 [details] => attachment 80672 [details]
