I chose to install all pacakges in the installer, but under the "Multimedia" submenu there is only "Amarok" and "Juk",  no dragon, although I am sure I selected dragon and dragon is indeed installed onto the system.

The same problem happens to marble, quassel and vlc . 

After checking the .deksotp files of those applications , I get a random guess:  the "TryExec=..." line is culprit.
