observing many times this strange behavior, I must notice, that sometimes deleting pics works just fine. It appers like digiKam waits for something, and, if this (unknown) condition ist fulfilled, it just works. Maybe there is something blocked? Access to KDE processes? Hope you'll find this annoying cause. Axel (In reply to comment #1) Observing the same behavior on Ubuntu 13.04 Digikam 3.1.0 During delete of album or file Digikam is blocked for 40sec and 0 % CPU. After this time album or files are deleted. Juwe Not reproducible here. I play everyday with digiKam... Mageia 3, KDE 4.11 Gilles Caulier My personel view on this issue: if _two_ people notice there is something potentially going wrong, there must be a real cause. Therefore, status should be "confirmed" rather then neglecting and saying "unconfirmed". Or? May I suggest to develop a testing szenario or test procedure. How could this be alike? Maybe we can exclude some drawbacks and misleading reasons. Axel This entry still valid with digiKam 3.5.0 ? Gilles Caulier Axel, This file still valid using last digiKam 4.2.0 ? Gilles Caulier New digiKam 4.11.0 is available : https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ? Gilles Caulier digiKam 4.12.0 is out : https://www.digikam.org/node/741 We need a fresh feedback using this release please... Thanks in advance. Gilles Caulier With digiKam 5.0.0 this problem is not reproducible. I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary. Gilles Caulier |
