No debuginfo in the backtrace, #5 0x00007f86f0f12c25 in ?? () from /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_clock.so means it's probably not very useful Please install debug symbols (Ah, I forget that Archlinux doesn't provide debug symbols yet so you have to recompile kdebase-workspace by yourself )and provide a better backtrace. I would make a mess of my system. Is there another way to produce a backtrace? No (nothing simple anyway). Either that, or file a bug with your distro, and let them try to sort it out.
