The Kaffeine version you're using is too old. We just released upstream a version 2.0.1, with is based on KDE5, and changed both the DVB and video play backends. Could you please test the upstream version and see if it works? The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git I'm not sure how Kaffeine 2.0.1 would deal with a disk full condition, but I think it may still have issues, as it may not be able to store the configuration data at the sqllite database. There were some changes on the logic that saves the configuration though, so it may work better than in the past version. This is an old bug, not known to happen on Kaffeine 2.x (with uses different mechanisms to save preferences than on past versions). As nobody updated it for a while. I'm closing it. If it still happens on Kaffeine 2.x, feel free to re-open. |
