I'm running fedora 17 with Xfce

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. press F7 for directory creation
2. type any name, like "sample"
3. try to remove all the characters of the directory name: ""
4. it's not possible to remove the 1.st char "s"
Actual Results:
it's not possible to remove all the chars, the 1.st char is always pending and can't be deleted (neither via Del nor Backspace keys)

Expected Results:
all chars should be removable
