Description Leon Maurer 2013-03-24 16:12:48 UTC
I have four desktops, and kate often is shown on all four of them when I log in -- even though it was just on one desktop when I was last using it.

The problem seems to be that -- if a file is modified and not saved before logging off, kate is set to appear on all desktops along with a dialog asking what to do with the modified file. The setting to be shown on all desktops is then preserved after logging off.

(I run in to this problem a lot because I have files open in kate that are modified by other programs, so kate asks me what to do with them on log off -- causing this problem.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Before logging off, modify one of the files in kate session.
2. Log off. A message box appears on all desktops (together with kate) asking you whether to save the changes.
Actual Results:
Kate will appear on all desktops the next time you log in, since it was on all desktops at the time you logged off.

Expected Results:
Kate should only appear on the desktop it was on during use.
