Example text file to demonstrate the bug

Created attachment 77769 [details] Example text file to demonstrate the bug When searching for certain patterns using STRG-F, Kate seems to skip the second hit (that it should find) and goes straight from the first hit to the third hit during the first pass through the document. If you continue to the end of the document and start searching from the start again, it also finds the second hit during the second pass. You can try this by searching for the pattern "((" (two opening parentheses) in the attached document.
