Please upgrade, your version is reather old,see also http://kubntu.org/news/amarok-26 and http://kubuntu.org/news/amarok-27 Waiting for your feedback. I added the repository as the link, but it is not showed on my "Program Central". Is there any binary file to download? Because "Download Central" is maybe not the best to show updates, sorry, I had problem with Ubuntu's Software Center before, it's usability is not really good. Doing it on the command line is much faster: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade If that doesn't work, then you probably don't have added the PPA correctly.
