I quickly reviewed other crashes you have reported so far. You certainly should continue reporting them, but looking at the backtraces, most of them are really wired, so that I tend to believe there is something we should investigate. Do you have any hardware issues, i.e. do you get errors from other software as well? Do you have multiple versions (self-compiled, etc.) of KDE software installed? As for this crash, which Phonon version and which Phonon backend do you use, and does switching to a different backend (VLC, gstreamer) help to avoid the crash? If you can provide any information requested in comment #1, please add it. To further investigate this issue, KDE developers need the information requested in comment #1.
