I can confirm this. After upgrading to KDE 4.10 RC2 akonadi stopped working. Its not possible to provide any logs because of the complete lockup of akonadi. It just stops working when opening any mail account. Distro is Gentoo ~amd64 KDE ist 4.10 RC2 compiled from kde overlay. I also have the same problem after upgrading to KDE4.10 RC2 Distro is Gentoo ~amd64 I was told to use mysql as the database backend. If you are still on any RC you could try this. After upgrading to 4.10 final akonadi completely broke. i am still searching for a fix. It also do not work on 4.10 final. akonadi-server is compiled with USE-flag: "mysql sqlite" after deleteing .kde4/share/apps/kmail2, .kde4/shar/config/kmail*, and ~/.config/akonadi, Kmail works fine on my system. I can confirm that my existing and working akonadi SQLITE3 setup completely broke on upgrade to KDE 4.10.0 (Kubuntu backports packages). Configuring MYSQL solved the problem after I had reconfigured all my Imap and calendar/contacts resources from scratch. This bug does not belong to my problem anymore. Downgrading openssl to 1.0.1c fixed the problems. My problem was Bug #314587 The IMAP resource has a new maintainer, reassigning to him. Please reopen if this still applies to >= 4.11.3 |
