I am trying to make kate the prefered application used to open c/c++ files instead of qt creator, however when I make the change and click apply/ok, the progress dialog appears and just continually repeats, never actually making the change.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bring up the properties dialog for a C/C++ file
2. Click the File Perferences button next to the file type
3. Make Kate the prefered applicaton instead of Qt Creator
4. Click Apply/OK
Actual Results:  
The progress dialog appears and continually repeats getting to 100%.

Expected Results:  
The progress dialog gets to 100% and closes having made the necessary changes.
