One way of making this easier is adding a new "dynamic" style "previous list"; this style would continue with the numbering, whilst all other list styles would start from scratch when applied. All numbered list styles would have "previous list" as their default next style. The downside is that it would break the combination : list A; counter 1 list B; counter 2 list C; counter 1 For this an advanced way of managing counters would be needed. Just a thought. Not sure how you insert those lists - but using the quick gui restarts the numbering just fine If you use the enumerated list paragraph style then yes indeed it continues Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software.
