Flagged for discussion, dropped to unconfirmed till then. Autoconnect setting is going to be useless when we will have presence based on activity. Enabling it by default and/or removing the 3-state checkbox will break and/or make it impossible to have different settings for different accounts at the moment, so I'm strongly against it. Perhaps for now we could resolve this issue with a popup when the first account is created asking if you want all the accounts to be set online at login ( [yes] [no] [manual] ) or something similar? Renamed to avoid confusion with Account::connectsAutomatically which is different Discussed in meeting, rejecting proposal. |
