Do you turn on right option in Setup/metadata digiKam panel ?
Which libkexiv2 version you use ? Go to Help/Components Info for details
Note : all work as expected...

[1]: Setup/metadata: please compare to screenshot(!!)
"*.mov" is a _film_-format, named "quicktime". not a pics-format
remarK: in the setup menu, is _no_ explicite film-format, maybe
it is a good idee to add this!

New digiKam 4.11.0 is available : https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ? digiKam 4.12.0 is out : https://www.digikam.org/node/741 We need a fresh feedback using this release please... Thanks in advance. In Digikam 4.12 under Ubunutu 15.10 the geo-tab on the righthand side of the window has disappered. LibKExiv2 version is 2.4.0. The previous version (4.8?) under Ubuntu 15.04 did not behave very as nice as older versions. One could not change map or resize and zoom to see something meaningful.
