When the quick chat plasmoid works (no window chat) when an receiving message you get no sound notification.
I have configured the notifications so that sound should come when receiving message on active chat and on inactive.
If i use the window chat notifications work properly.

Known bug. Chat Plasmoid doesn't emit any notifications. Confirming.

For this, how about we add a new event to ktelepathy.notifyrc rather than using the existing notification, since I wouldn't want it to create a popup by default?

Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
