I've moved (via mouse drag) a folder to another folder. Then I've moved another folder to the same destination folder and kmail crashed instantly on finishing the move (releasing the mouse button).

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
the crash seems reproducible - I've just did the same with another two folders and the same destination folder and it crashed again on dropping the second one
note that the folder move itself was okay, the two folders moved in the previous attempt got moved correctly including their contents (unlike another similar bug in which there was data loss - but that one concerned IMAP, this is on local folders)

When kmail was restarted, the folder seems to have been successfully moved in the new location, but some strange and repetitive warning messages appeared stating that this folder, written as it was in the previous location, did not exist anymore!
Then, I stopped kmail and the akonadi server and remove the ~/.local/share/akonadi directory. When I restarted both akonadi and kmail everything seem to go fine and no error messages appear. It seems that some akonadi-related database was corrupted and then rebuilded.
Hope this could help better understand this bug!

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists.
