regardless of the feature request: > It is kind of a habitual behaviour when I don't want the cursor to disturb or just accidentally. It's kind of wrong - see http://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/unclutter/ please see reasoning in duplicate feature request *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 300008 *** Such a nice feature to have. I honestly think the reasoning referred to is misguided (using a misunderstanding of a barely related abstract theory to "prove" the opposite of what a few of us know to be true by concrete practice). But if the developers don't like the idea, for whatever reason, it's not going to happen, and I accept that. I commented the reasoning there and I must tell it is not very convincing. If you don't want to do it you can just say that you don't want to do it, but there is no way to predict how many users will use this option - I was thinking about option not about changing the whole screen edge activation mechanizm. |
