might be related to bug #289097?!? Also, now I remember that in the account with problems, I removed some emails (I don't remember whether from web or through KMail). I am not sure but I think the problem began when I removed those emails. This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. I installed Kmail in Fedora 24 WS 64 in version 16.08.1-1.fc24. The result was after first start without any problems. But after adding a account from aol, the software crashes. After a restart of the pc, the error was reproducable. After theis knowledge I uninstalled the program. -----Original-Nachricht----- Betreff: [kmail2] [Bug 303175] KMail and IMAP AOL: Unable to fetch item from backend Datum: 2016-09-24T19:52:23+0200 Von: "Denis Kurz via KDE Bugzilla" <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> An: "sgies1963@t-online.de" <sgies1963@t-online.de> https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303175 Denis Kurz <kdenis@posteo.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDSINFO Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO --- Comment #3 from Denis Kurz <kdenis@posteo.de> --- This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Stefan, thank you for your feedback. I'm not entirely sure if this is still the same bug, since KMail did not crash according to earlier reports, but I reopen nonetheless. Also, this seems to be problem with Akonadi instead of KMail, reassigning. |
