I am running Arch linux- so I was able to recompile using the -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug switch, is there anything else I can do to get you more helpful information? I am not a developer, so I don't exactly know how to do this stuff, but I'll gladly follow any instructions necessary to help you. The thing is that you don't just need debug symbols for Konversation, but also all the libraries it uses, specifically kdelibs, Qt and given the above, also the Oxygen style engine. Only then can you generate a full backtrace. Any news on this? Could you maybe test with 1.5 RC1? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
