[I guess you already had something in mind like this, and it was also posted on your blog but I guess to have it here in BKO would make it easier to keep track of it. Sorry, if there already has been a similar request]

The new Places panel should also have a "NetworK" place that automatically shows remote computers detected by zeroconf, to really simplify accessing remote network shares.

Displaying network stuff when application starts usually slows things down.

And imagine a network with 50 devices that respond to zeroconf stuff. It's quite unnecessary to have that in your face everytime you start dolphin.

I agree with Arthur. it should be an on-demand dropdown list upon pressing and holding on network.
