I have the same issue. This happened on several of my machines(XP and Windows 7) I found the problem to be with a password utility I use, avast 'EastPass'. The workaround was to disable the taskbar utility, start 'kleopatroa', then I could again start 'easy pass;' Please let me know if you require anymore information Here is the error: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: kleopatra.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 4d4c15aa Fault Module Name: QtGui4.dll Fault Module Version: 4.4.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 48207f1d Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0005ddea OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Faulting application name: kleopatra.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4d4c15aa Faulting module name: QtGui4.dll, version: 4.4.0.0, time stamp: 0x48207f1d Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0005ddea Faulting process id: 0xf94 Faulting application start time: 0x01cd31816f4bdb46 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\GNU\GnuPG\bin\kleopatra.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\GNU\GnuPG\QtGui4.dll Report Id: 9b697cad-9d81-11e1-9aa4-0022683e93ea Interesting. Can you test current Gpg4win dev package? We will relaese a new package in a few days. I believe this report was fixed in gpg4win 2.1 but the whole dll problematic got a lot better in 3.0 again. Test Version for 3.0 are available from: https://wiki.gnupg.org/Gpg4win/Testversions |
