Thanks for the report, please check bug 289090 (comment 34) for how to change the setting with KDE 4.8.2. KDE 4.9.0 will provide a UI option again. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 289090 *** Ah, please ignore my previous comment 1 - I referred to a wrong bug. Sorry for the confusion, this is a duplicate of bug 289850 ;-) The issue will be resolved with KDE 4.9.0 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 289850 *** |
Created attachment 70111 [details] Screenshot which shows the problem. Hey there! Looked here in the forum for anything useful and searched also in Google, but didn't find anything. I am using Kubuntu 11.10 with KDE 4.8.1. I realized in Dolphin, that the size of the files is partially shown wrong. Have a look at the attached file! In the status bar below you can see a file's size correctly in MB and in the lower right corner the total size of the hard drive is shown correctly in GB. → BUT: In the column next to the files the sizes only appears in kB. How can I change this to see in that column also the file's size in MB or GB. The settings in system settings → Regional → Others → Units for byte - value is set to metric units (kB, MB, etc.) Thanks in advance for your help! Regards, Chipy
