I see exactly the same problem running KDE 4.10.2 on Kubuntu 12.10. However, until now, I haven't needed to reboot to make the messages appear in the message list. Quiting and reopening KMail has been enough here. I also see this with KMail 4.11.1 (Kubuntu 13.04) and dovecot-imapd 2.1.7-7 (Debian 7). Have also seen this with current Git master. (local folders fetched via POP3, not IMAP) This sounds quite similar to #312460 Sorry... Bug 312460 This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. I gave up on Kmail about a year and a half ago. As far as I'm concerned, you can close this bug. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
