since you cannot recieve files > 1000MB i cannot send an exampleof a photo. PCD support is delegate to KDE Image IO... Note : ImageMagick has PCD support as image loader... Gilles Caulier ImageMagick isn't delivered in the (K)Ubuntu tree anymore. All the binaries were for M$ O.S. :-( So in my opinion there is no support anymore in GNU/Linux. We have to fallback to M$ programs to get something an average user can use/install. Probably you find the source code in imagemagic and you have only to make a module of it and include it in digikam. Myself I working only with GNU/Linux. And I prefer it this way. So the suggestion is more actual/urgent than I ever thought. Since KODAK is almost gone (broke/faillissement) there wouldn't be any license issues -if they were ever necessary.- thanks for the links. KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish. If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue. We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component. Greetings Christoph Cullmann |
