The options in the entire settings page apply to the Skin, which is the name of the settings page, so context provides that info already. In that case this is a translation bug. In the german version the title of the settings page is "Erscheinungsbild" (~"Appearance"). There are three blocks: "Allgemein" (~"Generic"), "Hintergrundfarbe des Fensters" (~"Background color of the window") and "Design" (?~"Skin"). So in the german language version only the last block has a relation to the skin. Additionally the german translation does not make it clear that the skin applies only to the decorations, not to the contents of the window. How does the German translation translate the checkbox, actually? The English original label for the checkbox is already "Use skin translucency if supported". "Durchscheinenden Hintergrund verwenden, sofern unterstützt" (~"Use translucent background, if supported") P.S: That checkbox/string are shown in the "Hintergrundfarbe des Fensters" (~"Background colour of the window") block. Alright, then it's a translation bug indeed since it drops the notion of skin from the checkbox label. Reassigning ... Ack: Will look into it. SVN commit 1282406 by schwarzer: Make translation more specific. M +6 -7 yakuake.po WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1282406 |
