Action that results in crash is much more simple than described: I create new mail, put in e.g. 3 addresses and save it as a draft. When I then open this draft I get the message "Receiver list is shortened to 1 from 3 entries" (translated from german). Then kmail crashes. It works properly with at least KDE 4.8.4. Could you confirm this please ? Created attachment 83345 [details]
New crash information added by DrKonqi
kmail (4.11.2) on KDE Platform 4.11.2 using Qt 4.8.5
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
* Created a new message with 3 receivers: 1 TO and 2 CCs
* Saved the message
* Opened the saved message
* A popup said the deliveries list will be shortened (why?)
* Clicked "Okay"
* Kmail crashed

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
