1 - In Dolphin, select any font file. Righ-click and choose Properties -> Preview. (Not localized)
2 - Dolphin 'Information' panel. (Not localized)
3 - A font opened with KFontView. (Localized)

I'm not sure if it is an kio error. Please, correct if necessary.

Reproducible: Always

using recent master compiled from sources in locale x-test:

1) Dolpin Properties/Preview
Letters (upper/lower)+Numbers/characters are translated.
The sentence ("The quick brown...") in different fontsize is untranslated -> Bug

2) Your screenshot is from Aside Preview in File Open dialog, right?
That is untranslated here -> Bug

3) KFontView
Letters (upper/lower)+Numbers/characters+sentence ("The quick brown...") translated -> OK

In my first screenshot, 2 is from 'Information' panel (Dolphin).

I also tryed with Aside Preview in File Open dialog and the sentence ("The quick brown...") is untranslated too.

I attached a new screenshot. Sorry about that confusion.

I think this is related to the kfontviewpart from kfontinst (which is in plasma-workspace).

More like the font thumbnailer I'd say

It looks like the thumbnailer is responsible for the font preview icons in dolphin (either when opening a folder with fonts in it, or opening the fonts:/ kioslave); vs the kfontviewpart I see in e.g. the information panel in dolphin when I select a font.
