*** Bug 293097 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This seems to be a glitch in recent versions of phonon-backend-gstreamer-0_10. I had this happening with kpat 3.6 on openSuSE 12.1 (64 Bit, kernel 3.1.9-1.4-desktop), KDE 4.7.4 "release 5" after updating to phonon-backend-gstreamer-0_10-4.5.90-5.7.1. After "downgrading" to phonon-backend-gstreamer-0_10-4.5.1-5.6.1, everything is fine again. Workaround (downgrade) solved that issue for me! Thanks Matthias! I just ported KPat from Phonon to KgSound, which uses OpenAL internally. As OpenAL is designed for low-latency audio, such delays and freezes should be gone. Thanks :-) Parker, the same issue is present in kshisen, see bug 289473. Does it need to be ported separately, or is the fix actually in libkdegames? It will need to be ported separately, but like KPat, the port should be very easy. I'm sure Frederik will have it done in time for SC4.9. If not, I can probably do it. *** Bug 295242 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 299909 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 293749 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** have the same bug in Kubuntu 12.04. Why is the bug marked as SOLVED? Where's the solution of the problem? It is marked as "Fixed in: SC4.9" as seen in the upper right column. So the fix will be available in KDE 4.9. *** Bug 303948 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
