The USDA Nutritional Database is obviously one of the largest files on the Internet. Obviously Corporate logged nutrition labels are easier to enter and maintain by users as the user most likely has a product bias. If the person buys a product from a co-op or nutrition and fitness store that information would not be available via the USDA. It would help if users could add nutritional facts to food and ingredients both. This is especially useful for individuals with allergies and dietary needs. Such as myself. It also would be beneficial if you could add a food allergy field. I think these additions would make for an all around amazing database. An export function for recipe cards for community members to share on a wiki wouldn't be needed but appreciated. Thank you for the amazing job. This is one of my favorites and I am a Dbase Programmer in Access. Various issues listed in the ticket, but the central one, unable to add property information to an ingredient, is a dup of 322164 (recently fixed). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 322164 *** |
