Dropping on a remote ftp:// URL works. This seems to be a dolphin bug. Dropping on a dolphin instance which shows the smb:// target does also not work in KDE 4.8.0 I'm also seeing this bug. Using KDE 4.8.00 and Dolpin 2.0 from the Kubuntu Backports PPA: ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports same issue kde 4.8.0 from Backports PPA: ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports (as someone else already noted) Here on opensuse 12.1 kde 4.8.0 dolphin 2.0 also drag and drop on smb:// doesn't works, you have to copy and paste to copy files Here on opensuse 12.1, kde 3.4.8 dolphin 2.0 the copy draggingdropping works. so can be changed in solved I think Yes, with 4.8.3 it now works. closing *** Bug 290780 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
